hey there! Name's Craig, I am 22 years old and based up in Aberdeen (Scotland) and I'm currently a resident DJ at a multi-floor bar/club!
Been DJing for around 2 years, started off just helping a friend do an occasional disco, then did a few nights around Aberdeenshire. Then stood in for an ill friend at a club night in Envy, called "New Noise", basically a mixtape night. I then became resident of that night until a few months back, when I switched over to Korova!
Bit of a jack of all trades in regards to genres I DJ, I've done most commercial genres!
Mostly doing Rock music and mixtapes right now, do enjoy scratching aswell, just don't get much of a chance to do it!
Current set up is:
Acer laptop, using Virtual DJ Pro, with timecodes. 2 x Pioneer CDJ 800's (Occasionally 1000's) Pioneer DJM 700 (Occasionally 800) Pioneer HDJ-1000's
im pretty much an old school DJ, got loads of old school vinyl. thinking about traktor but havent made the switch yet . . into mainly drum n bass, jungle, old school hardcore and bit of dubstep. hello all! :)

im used to dj loads but family commitments have reduced my fund's for my favourite fix - vinyl and nocturnal activities.like to keep an eye on how technology moves on but just cant get with CD's for Djing.mainly im a deep house, garage and funk head , hi y'all!

Hi - Guy here at Superfly Entertainments - full-time DJ. I use PCDJ Dex 1.0 with Denon MIDI decks. Potentially looking at Tracktor or similar for 2012. Whilst I am a mobile DJ, I do mix and tend to favour current commercial dance albeit you have to play the occasional Cha Cha Slide and YMCA to get through some of the private parties and weddings...
Hi I'm Chris C I have owned and opperated 2 Online radio station Radio420 and "HLR" Hardline Radio. Both stations had DJ's from across the pond in the USA this was all very comercial "local Radio" style but was very fun.

As a group BruTal:BoYz are currently on the hunt for some gigs in and around Birmingham.
I am a DnB and old school hip hop DJ, used to play a lot while still in the old country, recently it's occasional stuff, mostly as support at the band gigs thanks to a couple of promoter friends.
About 10 years of experience, complete vinyl junkie, only use the CD player for stuff I can't find on vinyl or for whatever is too pricey to buy or too precious take to the clubs to play...

I used to use vinyl but started costing to much to take abroad so went to cd's... After working on a 7 night a week basis i found myself having to keep more than one copy of cd due to the use.

My names Nick been Doing lighting, sound and DJing for past 4 years now and love every moment. For the bedroom ive got a 200watt PA running from the Warrior DA300 beautiful amp by the way :) for a mixer ive got the American audio Q422 pro. For players ive got one Cortex HDTT5000 love that also and a Citronic MPSD1. I also do disco type events every now and again just for fun and have a smallish lighting system, im not really into a specific genre of music as i enjoy alot of music but mainly listen to UK garage, House and Drum n Bass.
If anyone has any questions on sound and lighting id be happy to help as i often work on events that use large lighting and sound systems :)

ok i have 2 cdj numark ndx 800`s/behringer ddm 4000 mixer/ 2 Samson resolv monitors/ traktor le software/numark dj audio interface & sony rcd w100 recording hardware. i need to know is it possible 2 hook my stuff up to use traktor le using this external mixer, while recording onto my external recording hardware?a response i badly need, its mind boggling.

Im Danny, bin DJ since i was 13 at the school friday night youth clubs with the art teachers vinyl set and box light with huge car headlight strobe that used to zap u as u turned it off, moved onto helpin said teacher do mobile once left school and eventualy got the local disco shop (good m8 now) to sub me sum gear to start up with,
15 years on with a short 12 year stint in the army and many mobile gigs, weddings, Karaokes, clubs and suporting bands/singers latter here i am with a small but very buisy list of venues i cover still loving DJin more than ever, also just started doing a bit of local radio fingers in pies and all that
i probably spend too much on my gear and im always thinking of new ideas for easier and better setup, i currently run on Virtual DJ for the ease of having everything on one 3TB hard drive and so that i can run a 32" flat screen on my top bar with graphics, pictures or Karaoke on, also have that linked upto VMS4 witch i love for the hands on, but still have CDN22's on standby as i dont trust the laptop to not crash now and again altho its has just been upgraded to an i7.
anyone wanting info or help with gear can give me a shout i will be more than happy to help if i can

We can have quite large septups at times so four hands is needed. Most of what we play is party/classics/chart music, although we also specialise in house nights and have a couple of bi-monthly house nights at bars in hertfordshire. Included in our setup at the moment is: Two Pioneer CDJ 1000s (nothing beats the 1000s for accuracy and build!) Pioneer DJM3000 mixer Laptop running traktor Mackie tops RCF sub ADJ Moving heads, ADJ Quad Phaze, ADJ Par cans, LED bars, Cluster laser, Lanta Blue lazer, Scrim Kings, mostly all bought from DJKIT! Lighting dmx'd and running through another laptop.
Started off in my bedroom remixing "electro" & Breakdance songs then managed to land a residency in a local bar. Since then have been resident in several bars & clubs in Leicestershire but now have settled nicely in the mobile circuit as have more freedom as to when I work.I mainly work in the Loughborough area, but regularly travel to other Counties for the right price!
Have DJ'd on Vinyl & CD but am now happy to use a PC.
